I am asking too often for money and I'm ashamed. My wife hasn't been able to work for over a year and a half and she was just recently denied her first application for disability.
My pride means nothing over making sure that my family is ok and has a roof over their heads. I work full time and I dig in trash for recycling. I'm also still going to physical therapy for some accidents and am the only driver in the household. I am asking to make sure that we will make it into the new year and have food on the table. We have EBT but it is barely over 100 per month for all 3 of us. I am asking for this money, not all at once or for any one thing. The only extra money we have is the money meant to go to my licensure for that I could have a better job in the field I studied for and I am going to have to use it.
For car payments and groceries and student loans and every kind of bill outside of even rent, we need a little bit of help for a while.
I know many of us can't help each other but if you can't help directly, please share this to everyone you can, even people who don't know me. Anything will help because even with the help we might get, we still won't be able to do Thanksgiving this year and we may only be able to buy one present for my son for the holidays if we are lucky.
Please don't think less of me for asking but rather think about my little boy and my wife. Anything can help.
