“I Won’t Give Up!” on Mike Support Group

Dr. Nowicki joined the Fowlerville Veterinary Clinic in 2015, seeing equine and small animals. He quickly became a solid asset to our team and our clients.

In 2021, Mike was diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of Stage 3 nodular melanoma. This is different than the more common “I have a weird mole” skin cancer and affects the deep layers of the skin. In Jan. 2021, Mike had surgery to remove a malignant mass, lymph nodes and tissue from his left arm, and he was deemed cancer free. Unfortunately, after almost two years in remission, the cancer has spread and is back with a vengeance.

Mike's treatments have not gone as planned. He has not been able to work due to complications with treatment and has been forced to take a leave of absence. As his work family, we want to help support him and his family during this difficult time.
