March 21, 2019 our lives changed drastically. My name is Dawn and my husband is Mike. We are homeless on the streets of LA County. Our needs are strictly for survival purposes. My husband is dying out here. He is an insulin dependent diabetic and suffers from chronic pain. He recently was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He is no longer able to contribute to our survival like he wants. We have been trying to get into housing and yet we are still on the side of a freeway. I am hoping we can obtain a weekly hotel or even a cheap motorhone for us to stay in. We are awaiting disability but the process alone is lengthy. I am afraid that my husband will die if we continue to wait for outreach organizations to find us housing. I am able to take care of our daily needs for the most part but there are some days that I can't even feed us. Please help us. Anything is greatly appreciated and will be allocated for nothing but what it is meant for. Thank you all and please pray for my family. I have seen it work. May you all be blessed.
