My name is Fadi Thabet, a Palestinian photographer from northern Gaza.

I have dedicated my life to documenting the lives of my people — their faces, their strength, and their steadfastness in the face of everything meant to break them.

I believe that photography is not only an art, but a testimony and a responsibility.

Some time ago, my home was bombed and destroyed.

My equipment was damaged, and many of my memories were lost.

Yet I have not lost my faith, nor my will to stand.

My home was destroyed, yes — but I am still standing.

And I will rebuild it, stone by stone, as we Palestinians rebuild our lives, time and again.

I am launching this campaign to raise what I need to repair my home and provide a safe shelter for my family, and to recover the tools I need for my work as a photographer, so I can continue showing the world the truth of Gaza.

Every contribution is an act of solidarity, of life, of truth.

My home may have been destroyed, but my dignity, my faith, and my voice are stronger than the rubble.
