I recently suffered a devasting spinal cord injury, leaving me paralysed from the chest down. At the same time I gave birth to a second daughter. I am raising money to buy a Smartdrive MX2 (an electronic wheel) to attach to my wheelchair. This would allow me to get around more easily during daily tasks, such as, my work as a teacher, supermarket visits and days out with my family. It would also enable me to hold my baby whilst on the move in my wheelchair, something I would love to be able to do.
