Hey, my name is Shandelia, I go by Shay. I have struggled with suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, and prolonged Trauma since I was 12. I am currently struggling to overcome severe & crippling anxiety and depression. I am seeking enough funds to cover the ketamine assisted therapy used for severe cases of depression and anxiety. I have done extensive CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I use my tools with the resource state that I have. Some days good, some days paralyzed. I am seeking a level of relief so I can know what happiness is. So I can have a spark of joy to want to engage with life. My treatment team, endorses, approves & believes this would be a tremendous benefit. Currently there are no scholarships or endowments to help with this therapy. My family has been covering the high private therapy costs for over a year. We need help as I am not having forward progression of the intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and depression with therapy & medication alone. I have high aspirations. I know on my good days, that I am smart, capable, loving, giving, secure, and radiant woman. It’s been a long time since I’ve known her. I don’t typically ask for help. This is me going out on a huge limb, trying to believe that my life matters, & asking for support and help to get life changing treatment.
