Life can change in an instant — and for Jessica, it has.
She is one of the kindest and strongest people I know — a wonderful mother to two, a devoted fiancé, loyal friend, and a true fighter, who is facing one of the toughest challenges of her life, again!
While just this summer, Jessica fought and beat cervical cancer, believing the worst was finally behind her and was ready to focus on healing and getting back to life with her family…
She got the devastating news that she has a massive tumour in her throat. While doctors are grateful it hasn’t yet affected her esophagus, the tumor has already compromised the nerves controlling her vocal cords. As a result, Jessica must undergo a full laryngectomy, which means she will permanently lose her natural voice and will need a permanent tracheostomy stoma to breathe.
Jessica and her fiancé have had to travel four hours away from home so she can receive specialized care. Her fiancé is staying in a nearby hotel while she remains in the ICU awaiting this life-changing surgery.
This has put tremendous emotional and financial strain on their family — from travel costs and accommodations to missed work and medical expenses.
Please consider donating to help ease the financial burden on Jessica and her family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Every donation will go directly toward supporting said travel costs, accommodations, meals, and the long road of recovery ahead.
Thank you for your love, compassion, and support. ❤️
