After spending over 14 months in Pennsylvania in search of work & prosperity I have to call it quits and have decided to head back to California where I have more of a foundation of friends and new work options.

While in the process of securing a new place here in Norristown, I lost my minivan in the process just 2 months after moving here. Losing my vehicle made finding a job nonexistent and I had done everything I could do to be hired but I couldn't even get a call back. I tried creating jobs at home like baking cheesecakes, making ice cream, and making candles but each attempt proved fruitless.

Thankfully the one friend I had here in PA let me stay in their basement in trade for helping around the house or else I would have been in a different situation than this as I could never have afforded rent without a job. This is the one thing that's made it possible to make it this far though it's run it's course.

I now have 2 work opportunities back in the deserts of California working with a good friend in which I have worked with before on multiple occasions, so I'm already aware that I will have a safe place to live while getting back on my feet. I will have my own living space and all amenities included, I just need to buy a vehicle so I can get there.

The place is available right now, so as soon as I have the money to buy a vehicle I can get that done, pay the insurance and get roadside. I have looked into other alternatives for travel but they are far too expensive and I need to have my own vehicle if I'm going to be living where I'm moving.

I just wanted to say that I'm 6 years sober from drugs and 2 years sober from alcohol. I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't have any bad habits to deal with and have been on a mission to better myself. To help stay occupied here in Norristown without work for so long I started helping with a local cat colony that I was able to help and rehome over 23 cats, including getting them all fixed and sent to fosters. Without help from the local community it wouldn't have been possible to save so many lives. Much like the cats having needed help to survive, I need some help now so that I can survive as well. Please consider helping someone who's just trying to get back on their feet and keep doing good things.
