Hi, my name is Erik. I decided to move to Alaska this summer to work on a zip-line, and make extra money to help pay for my expenses in my last year of college. It was an amazing opportunity to explore new places and meet new people. Unfortunately, on the evening of July 7th, I fractured my foot, which led to a dislocation of my mid-foot and many torn ligaments. After this took place, I was immediately flown back to my home to rest as I am unable to walk for the next two months. This type of injury required surgery, which I had performed on Thursday, July 21st. Our family fell into difficult times earlier this year after my mom broke her ankle. This injury left her unable to walk or drive for three months and she is still in physical therapy. This made her work as a real-estate agent extremely difficult. Her medical expenses have now only been compounded by mine, which is why I’m asking for help. I am paying for these medical procedures with most of the money I was able to save while in Alaska, but I was hoping to save this money for the upcoming school year. I would like to ask you to assist me pay for the procedure and last year of college. Any amount is appreciated.
