We Dumarland (Womenland) and it's ally chose to help #MMS. A mother, a daughter, a friend and a Child Rape  Survivor. 

Malyun Ali Source of income was her Youtube Channel. The Youtube
Channel was reported by Fundamentalist Religious Somali Men who
wanted to silence her. 

She needs support to make sure her story reaches everyone around the world. Women abuse has not ended. She doesn't live in 3rd world
country but in USA that she is being abused. Any support will be greatly appreciated. She wants to help the thousands of victims that call her daily. But she can't without your support. 

Malyun Ali is the first Somali who openly Supported Somali LGBTQ
Community and for that got many xenophobes to attack her and her
supporter. Dumarland is a Facebook Group where everyone have the
right to share a platform. 

HERE'S HER STORY 


As long as rape remains hidden and shameful, recovery is impossible.

This is Malyun Ali story a Somali refugee who lives in Arizona and has endured the last 2 years constant verbal/physical and death threats by Somali Community.  Just because she spoke about her Story of being a child rape survivor. 

 Malyun Ali  was raped 3 times as a child. 

1.    First 6 years old by her uncle (from her mom side)

2.    Second 8 years old by Religious Kuran/Islam Teacher

3.    Third 9 years old by Religious Kuran/Islam Teacher


On February 28, 1997 she entered USA. She lived her American dream with her 3 kids. Became business owner and property owner. All this crashed when her ex husband who she sponsored started to lose her business and property when he cheated on her and took everything from her. Malyun Ali  moved closer to her family who reside Minneapolis MN to get support and help, This will be the place where Malyun will face her second assault.

Victims who tell others about their assault must endure a "second assault". Malyun Ali came live on Social media via facebook December 27, 2016.
She came to speak about being a survivor of rape. She never imagine the abuse she would endure. Fundamentalist so called religious leaders and Somali men came to silence her. They did fundraising to shut her Youtube Account which was the only source of income for her and a place of many rape victims around the world were able to watch and hear her story in their native Somali Language. Malyun Ali is the first Somali Women to come publicly in a Social Platform to speak about her abuse. But in return became 2nd time victim of death threat and abuse by the Somali Community.  They went as far as putting her 3 kids against her and one of her son got shot to to silence her.  

They called her crazy, lunatic, bipolar. They told her she will go to hell for exposing the dirt in Somali Community.  Constant social media bullying started since 2017. All her accounts were reported and shut down. They wanted her to see her death. She even came live to say she will commit suicide since she can't endure  any more pain. 


She changed her religious to stop the constant abuse and bullying and seek refuge with the Somali Christian Community. Still attack and torment continued. 

She shaved her hair and took of her headscarf, since they couldn't respect her with it or without it. Still constant shaming and name calling continued. 


Her entire existence was based on what she was wearing. Victims were being abused fully covered and staying silence. She came live to show
not to be afraid and to speak up. 

Anyone that supports Malyun Ali also received death threats and cyber bully and harassment.  From phone being hacked to pictures of supporters family being spread around the media.

This Campaign have been started by Sarah Ali Dumarland President a Community Activist and a Humanitarian. She lives in Canada.

I, Sarah Ali have been supporting Malyun Ali since the first day she came to social media to speak about her story. Been working with outside social media via peer support. 

How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible)

1.The funds will be spend to support with Malyun Ali medical condition. She is diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
2.It will support with her living expenses and cost of purchasing food and transportation.
3. It will support in making sure her story is heard around the world via publishing a memoir/book. Attending workshops and also going back to school to learn English so she can explain her story in her own word to the world.
