Jacqueline, my sister, who we all know is a fighter from the start, had her hardest battle to deal with at the age of 35. To let you all know her more, this is her brief story. My sister was forced to be a single mother, raising her son by herself, giving her heart and soul as a good mother does. Because my sister has dreams and aspiration, she tried her luck and went to Dubai and found a job as a receptionist. It hasn’t been a year when her ordeal started.  1st week of May: My sister has been complaining of headache. Severe headache that comes and goes. She did come to her doctor who did a panel of bloodwork and some pain medication.  2nd week of May: My sister is now experiencing stiffed neck, headache and dizziness. It comes and goes. She still went to the doctor. Same blood panels.  3rd week of May: It was a hot afternoon. My sister experienced the worst headache, stiffed neck, back pain and vomiting. My sister collapsed, had a seizure, and was out. Ambulance was called by her roommates. EMS came but did not take her to the hospital seeing she was up after the seizure. She then went to the same doctor and advised her to have MRI. But because MRI is expensive as her insurance from work is basic, she has to be sent to an Emergency hospital in Dubai that will make all diagnostics almost free or co-paid. After MRI, CT scans and more bloodwork was done, that same day, she had seizures and was rushed to ICU. They are now ruling out brain aneurysm. Angiogram was done and finally found the culprit: 2 blood clots and diagnosed with brain aneurysm. She is now in ICU fighting for her life. Jacqueline, my sister, is a person of pureness and happiness. Not once did she look for someone to replace her deadbeat husband, she shouldered her motherhood and singleness with pride and love. She loved, she dreamt and she fought. As she is once again fighting, now for her life, I am knocking at your heart to spare some of your time, to offer her prayers, and your spare change. As her insurance is basic, so many fees are not covered such as surgeries, some diagnostics, medication and etc.  We are looking at 40,000 AED. We are pooling all our energy and resources to help her. If you can just share this post/page as well, it would be a tremendous help. Any amount will help us assist her in getting over this ordeal.
