Our Mood Reel
Synopsis
When twenty year old Cillian looks in a mirror, he barely recognises his own reflection. He lives his hidden life under the cover of night, in hookups and fleeting relationships with men he barely knows. He does it because it makes him feel vulnerable, something Cillian never gets to feel.
Cillian lives in Belfast, with his adoptive mother, Meave. They have grown apart, still taunted by the distant memories of Cillian’s abusive father. Cillian doesn’t remember the last time he hugged his mother- he is scared to get close, scared of what she’ll find.
One night, Cillian sees a news report of a fatal car accident on the TV, he sees a picture of the victim – he is identical to Cillian.
Who is he?
