Well... if you know me, then you know how much I hate doing this. But, here goes...
Some of you know I had eye surgery on my left eye in March. I had leaking blood vessels, which were causing particles to float toward the center of my eye, which would eventually cause blindness. This was happening in both eyes, but the left eye was more serious at that time.
After my follow up today, the doctor says I need another treatment on my left eye, as well as surgery on my right eye as soon as possible. The total for both is going to be about $2,000. So... I'm freaking out.
Surgery is scheduled for July 31, which does not leave me much time to find the money, but that's the date he had open for me. At this point, I will keep rescheduling until I have the $2,000 or go blind, whichever comes first.
The doctor says the particles have moved significantly in my right eye since he last checked in March. Once they reach the center of my eye, I will be blind in that eye, and it cannot be reversed.
I don't want to go blind, y'all!
I know this is not anyone's problem but my own, but I'm asking for help because I don't know what else to do. Even the smallest donation will add up. If you can donate, thank you so much! If you can't, I totally understand.

PS... If I don't raise enough money, someone is going to have to buy me a cool pirate eye patch. Significantly cheaper than $2000, but it might put a damper on dating.
