I (Qedhup) needs your help

Hey there. Some of you may know me on youtube or other social media as Qedhup. I make youtube videos about tabletop roleplaying games, run live-stream games, and am also a writer/designer of my own RPG products as well.

As many of you may not know, I'm disabled. There are times I can't leave bed for days or even weeks because of spinal and hip issues. I can't even sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time. And because life loves to add spice, depression caused by a chemical imbalance. I won't go into details, but my last MRI looked like a shopping list of sadness.

This is why I have felt blessed to be able to delve into something like YouTube, Book Writing/Layout, and Live Streaming.

My life pretty much revolves around my computer. When you don't know if you can move that day, a computer is an important piece of equipment. And as a Canadian who only makes $13k/year on disability (a little over $9.6k/year USD). Building a computer system that can handle video editing, large book format layouts, and live streaming meant a slow build-up over years. Even though I'm not streaming top-tier games or anything, many of those activities (especially video editing) can use up a lot of the same resources. And games are kind of my only source of entertainment.

Recently, during a live stream a power surge fried my system, a few lights, and my mic. I'm basically left with nothing. My first instinct was to knuckle down and figure it out on my own. I've never asked for help or charity like this before, I was always raised to "figure it out". But a bunch of you convinced me to set this up and ask for help. I don't have any expectations, I know we're all going through tough times these days.

But I don't know what to do. As sad as it is, having a working computer system is my life. Making videos, live-streamed RPGs, and layout/editing/writing some upcoming books are kind of all that's keeping me going. So if you're doing ok financially (and ONLY if you're doing ok), if you could spare something to help me, you'd pretty much be saving me.

I'm not good at this, but I need help.
