Dear friends, both old and new:
I, Tim Ryan, put myself in a financial crisis. Yes, this is one of my making, from being fired from my job, from my inactivity, from my lack of initiative or ability to get government help. As I was making about $1,000 a month from part-time work, I lost the government help I had, MSHDA - rent assistance being the big one.
I need your help, please, be it a donation or a loan to be paid back later.
A big part of this is that I have been swindled out of $2,100. Yes, I got caught up in the get-big money, but you need to pay these expenses first by gift cards. The sad part is that I got introduced to this by an old friend, claiming his success with this program.
The biggest expenses for me are:
- The big one is my apartment rent, 2 months behind and the third month coming up too soon - $2,505. Today (12/17/22), I got a notice that they are ready to start the eviction process. I have nowhere to go.
- Cable-internet, TV and phone, $780. I did get my service shut off. I entered into a 12-month payment plan. $60.76 added to my $256 a month.
- A previous debt-consolidation loan from my Credit Union, a payment of $215 a month is continuous.
- Covering minimum payments on my credit cards, $250 is another continuous need.
I do have plans for helping myself, searching for a new job, applying for emergency rent help, applying for ongoing rent help (MSHDA) and checking out a pension plan payment I might have with Zantop Airlines (last worked with them 25 years ago).
Can you please help me with any donation (or a loan), large or small?
I did get to pay my auto registration for the year, $165.
I did get to pay my auto insurance, $240. Each month is the same.
I did get to pay my home insurance, $180.
