I Need Your Help to Get Life-Saving Heart Surgery
Hello, my name is Dan Davidson, and I’m humbly reaching out for help.
I have suffered five strokes—all caused by a heart rhythm condition called atrial fibrillation (AFib). I’ve been given a chance to receive a life-saving procedure in Texas that could cure the AFib and prevent any future strokes. My doctors believe this surgery could change—and possibly save—my life.
The operation is scheduled in Texas, far from our home in Pennsylvania, and I’ll need to stay there for up to two weeks to undergo the procedure and begin my recovery. The medical costs for the procedure are covered, but I need help covering travel and living expenses while I’m there.
My wife and I are both retired and living on Social Security. On top of this, we’re currently caring for our beloved 12-year-old Goldendoodle, Milo, who has been diagnosed with cancer and requires constant care. Because of his condition, my wife won’t be able to travel with me, and that makes this journey even more difficult.
We’ve spent our emergency savings on Milo’s treatment and vet bills, and now we simply don’t have the funds to cover this critical trip.
I’m asking for help to raise $6,000 to cover:
• Round-trip transportation to Texas
• Hotel accommodation for up to two weeks
• Food and basic expenses during recovery
• Local transportation to and from the hospital
This surgery gives me a chance to have a longer, healthier life—and a future without the fear of another stroke.
If you’re able to give anything at all, I would be grateful. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this with others. Your support means the world to me and my family right now.
With sincere gratitude,
Dan Davidson
