I need to evacuate Gaza with my family

My name is Tina and I am organizing this fundraiser to help my friend Mohammad Hajjaj in Gaza. We are raising funds so he and his family can evacuate to a safer place.

These are Mohammad's own words:

Hello, my name is Mohammad Hajjaj.

I am a 21-year-old student from Gaza.

I studied at the Al-Aqsa University for a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and I was hoping to complete my studies, but the war prevented that. Unfortunately, my education was severely disrupted due to the ongoing genocide, and the destruction the occupation have caused. I aspire to further my education and accomplish my long held ambition of completing my nursing degree, once we have relocated to a more secure place.

My family of eight members and I are currently living in a small tent, after our house was completely destroyed by the occupation, forcing us to move multiple times. We lost many of our loved ones, including friends, family members, and my sister's husband.

The conditions in Gaza are dire, with shortages of electricity, potable water, food and medicine. The intense heat and cramped living space further compound our suffering. My brothers and children have lost access to their schools, and my father, a professor, and my sister have been deeply affected by the loss of their loved ones.

In an effort to save Mohammad and his family's lives and secure a better future, I have created a link to collect donations for them. These funds will enable them to travel outside Gaza and seek refuge in a safer place.
