I need to escape from my moms boyfriend. TW SA

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but my situation has left me with no choice. For the past few months, I’ve been enduring unimaginable abuse at the hands of my mom’s boyfriend. Despite my pleas, my mother doesn’t believe me or offer support. With no family nearby and my father no longer with us, I’ve felt completely alone.

The only person who might be able to help is my sister, who lives in Jamaica. She’s offered me a safe space to heal, but I can’t afford the plane ticket to get there. As a full-time university student, I don’t have the means to support myself right now.

This is my last hope to escape and start over. I’ve set up this GoFundMe to raise the funds I need for the flight and a small cushion to get back on my feet. Even $1 can make a huge difference in helping me move toward a safer, healthier future.
