Dear Family and Friends

Mike has been diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. He’s been undergoing treatment for several weeks and now is staying at a rehab facility. Unfortunately he is not doing well in this environment and his insurance is going to run out. I really need to bring him

home but I can’t do it without 24 hour care, and at the rehab today I was told that would cost $12,000 a month. They also said that without improvement he will need to leave rehab in two weeks. The bottom line is I don’t think he’s going to get better there.

I can’t believe we’re going through this and that I can’t take care of him without these insurmountable costs.

I am asking for your help so I can bring him home. I’m certain that he will thrive so much more being with us if we can just take care of him here.
