Hi my name is Christina and I’m fundraising to get help with the cost of my 8 rescue pets. In the mid 90’s I became very involved in rescuing animals. Since then I have rescued, fostered and found homes for dozens of animals. I love doing it but it gets expensive. Presently I have 6 cats and 2 dogs. I definitely took on too much and I am in need of help. The monthly cost of feeding them and buying cat litter is a lot, and in the warm months I have them on flea treatment. But what’s really expensive are the vet bills. I just took my cat Willow to the vet because she has an upper respiratory infection and it cost $670 because her lymph nodes were very swollen and she needed a biopsy. Now my senior dog Lola has stopped eating and I need to take her to the vet. Also my dog Aubrey needs dental work done. I don’t make a lot of money, I’m on disability and clean houses on the side. It is very hard for me to ask for help but I really need it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
