I need help with getting a lawyer to keep Eli safe

Hi everyone, I have never posted publicly about mine and my son’s situation. I try to keep my personal life private. It has come to a point where i’m in desperate need for help.
Eli’s story is a very sad one… Only those close to me know what happened. Eli was born September 22nd 2021. On November 5th 2021, eli was 6 weeks old. That night eli was in the care of his biological dad. I was in the kitchen making dinner, when his dad came in with eli not breathing and turning purple with no pulse. I got Eli resuscitated after 2-3 minutes… We then went to two different hospitals, at the second hospital is when the doctors found his injuries… Eli had 24 rib fractures all at different healing stages(the first one dating back to his first week of life), he had a skull fracture, two brain bleeds(one was fresh the other was at least 2 weeks old) and his eyes were filled with blood (retinal hemorrhaging) There were no signs of abuse on the outside, no bruises anything…. the only thing was he had trouble keeping food down and i took him to his pediatrician two weeks prior and she didn’t think anything was wrong. The same day the doctors found Eli’s injuries, his dad was arrested and confessed to the abuse.
Within a week I got protective orders and fought like hell for custody of my son. His dad has a history of abuse before, our animals mainly, i didn’t get it as bad as they did. Mine was mainly emotionally and sexually abuse our entirety of marriage. I am terrified of this man and always have been. if you’ve met him he comes off very kind and well put together but behind closed doors is a different side of him.
Eli’s dad, only served 6 months on a plea deal some how… and got granted visits at my discretion… which ended badly. He was trying to control me and eli. The reason behind having to go back to court and get the protection orders again is because in december at his last visit with eli. Eli was throwing a tantrum… He then grabbed Eli and Threw him onto the couch so hard could hear eli’s teeth chomp together and screamed in his face so loudly.. I yelled at eli’s dad saying “don’t do that, you can’t treat him like that” He then pushed me into the wall and yelled “ you don’t know how to discipline a child”
Moral of the story, his dad is now trying to get custody of eli, He gets supervised visits and is trying to get more time and he got a really good lawyer to try and take my son from me. Eli went 2 years without knowing him and only knowing me. His biological dad is a stranger to him. The state free lawyers aren’t taking it seriously as much as i need them too. I found an amazing lawyer but the cost is 9k… i have only a 1/3 of that… Please help me keep my son away from his abuser and keep him safe. My son is my world and i have tried any other way to get the money and this is my last hope… Please, anything helps.
