Friends, I need your help. A few months ago, I had a serious fall in my apartment. I was hospitalized for a week. I came home and I thought I would be able to go back to work, but I discovered I couldn't really walk on my leg.

After a long time, I finally was able to see an orthopedic doctor who told me that I had a double fracture in my ankle and a fracture in my knee.

I have been out of work for 2 and a half months and now they are telling me I have nerve damage and may not be able to go back to work for a while.

I am starting to get scared about staying in my apartment and paying my bills. I am on Medicare now, but am still getting doctor bills that I can't afford. 

I love my job and I hope to go back as soon as I can, but I have to find a way to survive until my leg heals. Can you please help me get through this difficult time? It is hard for me to ask, but I don't know where else to turn.
