I need help to say goodbye to a family member of 18 years.

Hello my name is Mark I'm asking for your help to say goodbye to Coco our 18 year old English springer Spaniel. We have had her from birth along with her sister Bramble. Bramble passed away 4 years ago at home in my arms following a heart attack and 2 years before that we lost their mother Sophie to cancer. Since having our beautiful bunch I have become disabled and my wife and I have separated and Coco has been my right arm and I love her to bits.

Over the years she has eaten things she shouldn't like fruit cake and chocolate not given to her but purloined while we weren't looking and had no affect on her lol.

Now though the years have caught up with her she has arthritis and has daily dose of Metacam for pain and a monthly injection of lebrella to help with the same. She has been on this for the last nearly 3 years and it has given her a new lease of life for that time.

As she has aged she has lumps and growths one large fat lump on her right shoulder another lump on her chest and a growth on the left side of her mouth. Even though she eats well and most of the time can get up and down stairs she is showing signs of struggling as time goes on. She is beginning to also show cognitive issues.

This is one of the hardest things you can do I want her to stay with me but I also don't want her in pain or to keep struggling as she gets older. Coco is 18 years old an amazing age for a springer spaniel and I wish she could be with us longer. Now this is where I need your help please I'm on benefits now and to say goodbye to her is not cheap for me. I know things aren't good financially for people but if there is anything you can spare we would be grateful and I can place Coco next to her sister and mum here in their home at rest and out of pain. I do have insurance but it doesn't cover funeral fees. She will be in the care of Bluebell wood pet crematorium, Pensarn farm, Ystradgynlais. Please look them up they took care of Bramble and I can't fault their care and understand the facilities are beautiful and the family who run it are fantastic people.
