Hi everyone!
In January I'll be traveling to Paris for about 6 months through UCONN. It'll be my final Undergraduate semester at UCONN and I'd like to end it in a bang!
I spent the whole summer working hard to save up enough to go. This particular program does not accept financial aid, so I'll be paying for tuition fees, plane tickets, food, etc. All out of pocket. The program itself totals to about $17,000
Honestly, I'm not one to ask others for help, but I feel that even the tiniest contribution would mean a lot to me.
Going to France will help me refine my French and will be a major stepping stone in my dream to work for our Department of State, if not, foreign affairs as a whole. I've always had a passion for languages and I'm sitting at 4 right now [+ Ancient Greek which I'm currently in the process of learning!] And exploring the world and placing myself outside of my comfort zone is what I desire with all my heart.
There are many dreams I have that I wish to accomplish... and studying abroad has always been one of them.
Thank you for reading my story! God bless and take care!
