Hello my name is Ben Reeves I am 54 years old and I need some help. I was laid off from my job on April 2nd 2020, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was not recalled when the lockdown was lifted.

In March of 2021 I found out that I needed a hip replacement also that month I found that my PSA (prostate specific antigen) level was high (5.7). I was tested again in May and my PSA level had gone up to 5.8.

A biopsy of my prostate revealed that I had an aggressive type of cancer that would require surgery. I will have a prostatectomy on Dec. 10th.

I was ready to start a new job once I had fully recovered the hip surgery. With doctors appointments, impending surgery and recovery time. I have been unable to start a new job.

I am already late on October's rent and my phone bill is due now. My goal is to raise $4500.00 for rent($2800), phone($400.00), gas/transportation($600.00) and grocery's($700.00). This will get me through the end of the year and a head start on 2022. I assure that this money will be used wisely and accordingly.
