Lynette — A Woman of Steel Who Now Needs Our Help
Lynette is truly a woman of steel—someone who has spent her life lifting others up. She is currently hospitalized after suffering a devastating stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain. The stroke has left her partially paralyzed. Doctors attempted four surgical procedures to remove the clot, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.
Lynette has dedicated her life to helping others. She works in the mental health field, supporting individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. She has an incredible ability to see the strengths in others and help them believe in themselves. She is generous to a fault—always willing to give whatever she has to someone in need—and is deeply respected in her profession.
In fact, Lynette suffered her stroke while leading one of her weekly group sessions. Even in that moment, her primary concern was for her group members, not herself. That is who Lynette is.
As Lynette remains hospitalized, her medical and living expenses continue to grow. She faces a long and challenging road to recovery. While she is currently partially paralyzed, her doctors are hopeful that with intensive rehabilitation she may regain significant function over time.
We are reaching out to the community for financial support as Lynette’s bills continue to mount. Her adult children—a devoted daughter and son—have been doing everything they can, but the financial strain is overwhelming as they pull from their own already stretched family resources. Lynette also has two beautiful granddaughters.
Any monetary donation, no matter the size, will help Lynette maintain her basic financial responsibilities during this long recovery journey. Your support will ease the burden on her family and allow them to focus on what matters most—her healing.
Thank you for helping a woman who has spent her life helping others.
