Hi my name is Muriel. I am fundraising for myself. I live alone in my apartment.

I lost my husband (Basil) 5 years ago. He was very ill for 2 1/2 years. He spent the first 6 months in hospital. Then he was in and out until the end. It became expensive for things like gas,

hospital parking and medical needs.

Shortly after my daughter moved in with

me. We both lived alone so it was nice to

have the company if each other.

My daughter Kathy had crohn’s since the age of 30. Her health started to decline about two years after moving in with me. She had been in the hospital a few times. She developed colitis. She had to have bowel surgery. A ilesotomy bag on her side. She did not survive. Worst day of my life. It has been hard. I have now used all my savings. I have debt and I am close to being homeless.

Please help.
