I need help due to emergency medical problems

Hi, my name is Tammy and I wouldn’t be asking this if I wasn’t desperate. This is embarrassing to put out there but I really don’t know what else to do, and I don’t have anyone to turn to for help.

A few years ago I was doing great and was able to support my whole family, but due to a series of unfortunate events and medical problems I have lost everything.

This last several months have been particularly bad as I’ve been in and out of the hospital and it cost me a job contract that I was supposed to start in October. I have paid my bills through January but don’t have enough to cover February. I need just a bit more time to find something and I am confident that I can. While most companies weren’t hiring at the end of the year, they should be starting now. I’ve got a meeting with a recruiter tomorrow and have been sending out lots of resumes even while I was in the hospital.

I realize that a lot of families are struggling, but if you can help at all I appreciate it. I promise to help someone else out when I get back on my feet, or you if you ever need it.

P.S.

I have looked into government programs for help and haven’t been able to find anything. I do have an application out for medicaid for my health issues, but that may take at least a month.
