My ambulance needs a new inverter!
Donation protected

I am desperate to raise the money to replace the Vanner 20-1050cul inverter that is in my ambulance. Mine charges the batteries only now as the electrical switching relay has died and so it no longer runs the electrical outlets inside.
I run my own mobile computer repair business out of the ambulance and am able to perform any type of repair from inside when I have electrical power to the outlets. I have retro-fitted a computer, monitor, TV, workstation inside and will perform computer services when customers can't afford to take theirs to the big repair stores. Because my home is not zoned commercial, my business license has me being a mobile repair technician. I am licensed and certified to work on computers and peripherals. I charge a nominal fee for my time and gas plus the parts needed to fix their machine. I do not make any money on the parts, only for my time to make the repairs. I am reasonable and travel all over Western Washington, as needed. Many computers and peripherals are still very usable but the guys at the big stores charge such huge amounts that the customer usually ends up buying a new computer when they truly do not one. Take for instance, a broken laptop screen. You do not have to buy a whole new computer. I can replace the screen for you in approximately half an hour to an hour, and you will be able to be back in business with that laptop right then and there. All it takes is a pre-phone call or email to let me know the make and model number so I can order the correct one. I only charge $40.00 to install it plus the cost of the screen and those are usually fairly inexpensive.
Generally, a slow machine does not mean it is a bad machine. It may just need a little tuneup, which I can usually perform in about an hour or so. Plus, I can vacuum out all the dust bunnies that accumulate by the fans and vents, which prevent good air flow throughout your machine. By clearing those vents, it prolongs the life of the computer by making it run cooler.
Anyway, I need myambulance back up and running so I can continue my work in my mobile office.
I have priced replacement units and they are $1500.00. I would gladly take a good, used one but even they are approaching that cost, with no guarantee how long they will run. The unit that is in my ambulance was one I bought on ebay back when I first got the ambulance and I had to pay a lot of money for it and the installation costs and travel to Oregon for an overnight stay.
Time is of the essence though. Every passing moment that I do not have the money to purchase an inverter, means I cannot work the way I need to. I would need to run an electrical cord from the customer's location to the ambulance, which just will not work.

Please help! You can make a difference! You can help me continue doing what I love to do, and help others get their computers fixed at reasonable prices without having to take them into a shop.
Thank you.
