I need an ADHD Assessment and I can't afford it.

Hello, I am Loran, my counsellor (who is free) recently told. me she would bet money on me having ADHD based on preliminary tests. And recommended I get properly assessed by a psychiatrist. I have never been a very functional person, I have a disability and a couple of chronic illnesses that I am juggling, and I try and maintain some level of mental health and general positivity around all that, but it's not always easy.

Right now it's very hard, a lot of sudden expenses are headed my way, I may have to move house, my feet are damaged and I need special shoes with special inserts, so I can walk without pain, and just generally I forget to eat, or cook, or answer emails, or do basic life maintenance things, kind of all the time. I'm probably also Autistic, but i super can't afford that right now.

Anyway, my thinking is that with an ADHD diagnosis, and medication, I might have increased functioning, and if I could get even one day a week were I was like an actual person doing tasks and having an attention span and finishing things and remembering stuff and not forgetting to eat, maybe all the other stuff might actually seem possible. Like I could look at shoes, and save money and remember to eat and cook and look at houses and send emails and everything. Instead of doing it for five minutes and then just kinda not. I would really like to fix one thing, in the hope that it helps me fix the other things. If there is any money left over, I will get the special shoes to make walking easier so house hunting isn't so hard.

Anyhow, ADHD diagnosis requires a psychiatrist, and then meds, I've been recommended a particular clinic that specialises in ADHD and none of this is cheap, if you can chuck like $5 toward it, I know life is super expensive right now, so don't put yourself in a bad position or anything. But if you can help, that would be amazing.

Because I am not sure how I will manage all the things, and my disability and chronic illnesses without some help.
