I NEED a breast reduction & the NHS won't fund it

Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Helen and I have size 32GG measured boobs.
Over the years they have caused me an immense amount of pain and medical issues and I have now reached a wall with being able to cope with it all.

I have requested a breast reduction 4 times now on the NHS, the first time being over 10 years ago, and I have been refused each time, despite my breasts effecting several medical conditions I have.

The NHS no longer fund breast reduction unless there are extreme circumstances, and to them, mine are not extreme enough.

My breasts are measured officially at a 32GG and they weigh approximately a kilo each!
I'm a UK size 10, so it's a huge weight to carry on my small frame!

I have very poor posture, due to the combination of the size and weight of the boobs pulling on my frame, and the fact I stoop to try to hide the size of them.

I have Osteopenia, and so the extra strain this causes on my weak bones is only going to get worse over time.

I also have a hiatus hernia which causes constant stomach issues due to the tight bra strap putting pressure on that area due to the poor posture and weight of the boobs.

I also have asthma, and the heavy pressure of the boobs and bra strap leaves me feeling tight chested and short of breath most of the time.

In the mix I also have fibromyalgia.

I have massive dents in my shoulders where my bra straps have dug in to me over the years and forced my flesh and muscle to the sides.

Then there's the constant back ache. All day. Every day.

I have spent thousands of pounds on Bras, back supports and osteopaths over the years, and have been referred by the doctors for physio twice, but the only thing that will help is for my breasts to be removed.

Anyone that knows me well, knows that I very rarely, almost never, ask for help. It's not something that I find easy to do. I don't ever expect anything from anyone. I'm usually the giver, and that's how I like it!
But I've reached a wall with all the pain and discomfort now. I just can't cope with it anymore. It's causing me to become really quite depressed now.

Depending on the practice, it costs around £6500 for a breast reduction, and that doesn't include any consultation or aftercare costs.

I have always been a very independent person and always paid my own way, but unfortunately this is not an easy amount of money to save for us, especially with the world the way it is just now...

We are going to try to save as much as we can ourselves of course, but I've set up this go fund me so that if anyone is able to spare even just a few pounds, for example, if you were planning on getting me a Christmas or birthday gift, I would be unbelievably and absolutely blessed if you were to donate to my fund instead to help me get there a bit quicker!
