My name is Lamont, and I never imagined I would be in this position.

I recently lost my mother, and that alone has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. But what’s come after her passing has made it even harder.

Instead of being able to grieve in peace, I’ve been put in a situation where I have to fight for what’s right… for her, for her legacy, and for the truth.

My mother didn’t leave a will, which means everything is supposed to be handled through probate court under New York law. As her only child, I have legal standing, but right now, things are not being handled the way they should be. I’ve been left out, blocked from information, and forced into a position where I have to take legal action just to make sure everything is done fairly and lawfully.

This isn’t about greed.

This isn’t about money.

I would give anything just to have my mom back.

All I want is to make sure her life, everything she worked for, and everything she left behind is handled the right way with respect, transparency, and truth.

Right now, I’m trying to secure a probate attorney in New York to represent me and help me navigate this process from Texas. Between legal fees, court costs, and everything involved, it’s more than I can handle on my own during a time like this.

If you’ve ever lost someone you love… then you know this pain doesn’t come with instructions. And having to fight during that grief makes it even heavier.
