Hi everyone,

My name’s Joey. Not really one to reach out for help but under certain circumstances, I am currently homeless and waiting on a spot for stable housing, but in the meantime, my van has become my only place to stay. I’m working on making it a little more livable and safe while I get back on my feet.

I’ve already put some work into it — I replaced a wheel hub, bought new tires, and I’m about to get a new battery. The next big thing is fixing the exhaust, mainly to help manage gas mileage and keep things running efficiently. After that, I just need to set up a simple bed so I can rest comfortably and safely.

I do have a bit of income, but most of it goes toward bills and trying to boost my credit so I can be ready when housing becomes available. I’m just hoping for a little help to bridge the gap and make my van safe and livable in the meantime.

I’m setting my goal at $3,500, which should cover the remaining repairs, a small bed setup, and a few essentials for day-to-day living in the van.

Anything helps — whether it’s a few dollars, a share, or even some encouragement. Every bit goes directly toward getting the van in good shape and making it a safe place to stay until I can move into stable housing.
