It is with a heavy heart that I have to ask for something I never thought I would need... Help.

My band, Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns, was not able to work for the first four months of the shutdown. Since venues started opening, I've only been able to play about once a week since July. My savings have been depleted and we're barey managing to get by.

To make matters worse, in July the house I was renting to own (or so I thought) was put up for sale. Now I have to find a new place to live for me, my wife, my daughter and our pets. I have nothing left to put down on a rental, a purchase, or even a moving company, and also have the added problem of finding a place that is handicapped accessible.

I've always been the guy who played benefits, but never thought I'd need one myself. If I have brought you joy over the last 20 years of performing, it is with much sadness I would ask for your help getting through this, so when all of this passes I can get back to entertaining you all like I was born to do.
