Hi, My name is Ellie and I am fundraising for a cause extremely close to my heart.

On the 18/03 at 21:00 I was aboard the tramline travelling home from seeing my boyfriends friend for dinner from St Peter’s square in Manchester to Salford quays where I live. I was extremely tired and thought that I had tapped in at the start of the journey. A ticket inspector boarded the tram and I tapped my phone to their machine thinking everything was fine. Two days later I got a fine of £60 taken from my account. I am completely devastated at this. It turned out I hadn’t tapped in at the start of the journey as previously thought. That is a huge amount of money to be fined and frankly a fine that I can’t afford.

I didn’t even want to go out that night. I was so tired and I think that’s why I made the error. I have tried appealing the fine by calling bee line and emailing them but they are having none of it and they say it’s my fault. Please could you all just donate a single £1 to my cause and help me financially recover after this massive shock to my system.
