I Had A Concussion, Am Off-Work & Need Rent Money
Donation protected
On the ninth of July, I suffered a concussion at work and then two days later I began to feel the effects of it. Since then, my work has put me on workman's comp but the lack of money from comp (About 2/3s my usual paycheck) as well as several emergencies at the beginning of the month has resulted in me being short rent this month and the next two months at the least.
While the treatment for my concussion should last another two weeks at the most, all of this has resulted in me simply not having enough money to make it to the end of the month. My bank account is very dry. I need help keeping the lights on at my apartment and to avoid eviction. $750 will help me pay rent for not only this month but will help me keep up with rent for the next month as well. If you could find it in yourself to help me out, I would be forever grateful, because things have gotten so bad that I'm on my last legs and am not sure if I'll make it through the summer financially.
The emergencies that also set me back (including the concussion) were:
1) A windshield replacement due to a tire tread crashing through it.
2) A bad brakeline on my car that needed to be fixed.
3) An issue with the DMV wrongfully attempting to revoke my license over an "unpaid" traffic ticket that I did pay. (The county never cashed it, so it was probably lost in the mail.)
Again, if you have cash to spare, please donate to me so I won't get evicted. It would me to world to me, because I don't want to lose my apartment that I recently got in mid-May. Thank you for your time.
