Hi, my name is Corinthian.

I’m a mother, a nurse, a student, and a business owner. I’ve always been the one who shows up, pushes through, and takes care of everything.
But over the past year, my body was quietly fighting a battle I couldn’t ignore.
Before my surgery, I was experiencing constant blood loss and chronically low iron levels. I was under the care of an oncology hematology specialist, going every 3–6 months for iron infusions just to function.
After waiting and pushing for answers, I was finally approved for a hysterectomy. I thought this would be the solution—the beginning of feeling like myself again.
But after surgery… something wasn’t right.
I remember telling the nurses and staff over and over, “Something is wrong.” I could feel it. I was begging for help.
And then everything changed.
I began bleeding internally into my abdomen.
I lost so much blood that I required 8 units of blood and over 10 liters of fluids to survive.
I remember being awake as they rushed to save me… crying, praying to God, asking Him to let me make it through for my daughter.
At one point, I woke up during treatment with a breathing tube down my throat. I couldn’t move my arms, my legs, my hands, my feet—nothing. I was fully aware but trapped in my body.
I was terrified.
I started crying, trying to get someone’s attention. Eventually, I was able to slightly move my head to let them know I was awake.
They put me back under.
The next thing I remember was waking up in the ICU, still intubated, still needing help to breathe.
That experience changed me forever.
By the grace of God, I am still here.
But surviving was only the beginning.
Right now, I am in recovery. While I do have short-term disability support, my income is significantly reduced—and life has not slowed down.
I am currently facing:
• Ongoing medical and recovery-related expenses
• A flooded basement that needs immediate attention
• The need for a safe, reliable vehicle
• School expenses as I work to return and finish my degree
This has been one of the most difficult seasons of my life.
As someone who has always been independent, asking for help is not easy—but I know I cannot do this alone.
My goal is to raise $15,000 to help me:
• Continue healing without financial pressure
• Restore my home and living conditions
• Secure reliable transportation
• Return to school and complete my degree
• Transition back into work safely and sustainably
This experience taught me that life is fragile, and tomorrow is not promised. I am committed to rebuilding, moving forward, and creating a better future—for myself, my daughter, and the community I serve.
If you are able to donate, share, or support in any way, I am deeply grateful.
Even a prayer or a share makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with me during this time.

With gratitude,
Corinthian
