What can I say about this stuck-up half-witted scruffy-looking nerf herder??? Can you tell he is a Star Wars fan? Because he is. And that is how I met Jeff. But who I am is not important; my message is. He is one of the lucky few who was able to take his love of Star Wars and use it to give back to his community. Jeff is a proud member of the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion. He goes beyond the bounds of his daily job and of his normal responsibilities to volunteer his time and service by participating in charitable work within the local community. He wears costumes of various characters from the Star Wars universe and volunteer his time to the community and those less fortunate. Whether he is dressed as a rebel or a part of the imperial forces, Jeff always put a smile on faces big or small. He definitely will leave an imprint on you and everybody that has had the privilege of meeting him.
Unfortunately, that has all stopped because in April of this year Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He has since been fighting the cancer with all he’s got. All the while he has slowly started selling off his possessions being mindful of the future. If you know Jeff, you know that he is stubborn and proud so he won't ask for help. But now he and his family are prepping for hospice care. So I am going to ask for help on his behalf since he won't. This GoFundMe is for his medical bills, hospice care, and anything else Jeff and his family will need now and after. If you know someone who has gone through this then you know the bills that need to be paid, plans that need to be made, and a future to help with. Jeff is fighting to stay as long as he can for his wife Nancy (his true love, his everything), his sons Chris and Clay, his daughter Lilly, his step-son Donnie, and 4 grandchildren. So I am asking you to help him with taking care of his family as he is fighting and when he is too tired to fight. Help with lessening the burden while he and his family complete his journey.
Thank you.
