Hello everyone, my name is Ivette Beltrán and in 2017 I was detected with a mesenchymal chondrosarcoma in the left arm, a rare malignant tumor. After a long chemotherapy treatment, the doctors determined that the only solution to kill the tumor and prevent it from expanding was to remove the limb, so in August 2018 I underwent this surgery; A few months later, when I believed that everything was over, I was informed that the cancer had now reappeared in my shoulder, so I started chemotherapy again, which did not give the expected result, so a new surgery was necessary, which was performed in December 2019, this time to remove the shoulder. From the first day of my diagnosis, this whole process has been difficult and very painful, but I DON'T GIVE UP; Thank God I am cancer free today and I can think about the next step, which is the adaptation of a prosthesis, which will help to lessen the pain of amputation, however, it is very expensive.
