After the death of his best friend, a grief-stricken, up and coming comedian must find a way to become funny again before his big show.

This is my final senior film project. The story came from trying to write something funny and being unable to after I lost a close friend. The main goal of the story was to personify that feeling of grief, take what I was feeling from my head and put it into words in an attempt to understand it.

This story stars Sam Dothro, a young and upcoming comedian as he prepares for his very first comedy special. While preparing for the special Sam receives a call from one of his closest friends. She informs him that their friend, Adam Beckman, has died, suddenly and unexpectedly.

Grief-stricken, Sam finds it difficult to be like himself. He tries to perform to the ghostly memory of Adam in his mind, but finds it increasingly hard to be funny. With the special performance only hours away, Sam must learn to accept his grief in order to be funny once again.
