A long time ago, I heard about charities that make wigs for cancer patients, and I made a promise to myself: One day, I’ll grow my hair and donate it. Such a simple way to make a difference, right? But… years went by. My patience wore thin. I just couldn’t stick with growing it out long enough—and I knew a pixie cut wasn’t for me (10-year-old me can confirm that!). So I’d always end up giving up and going for a regular cut instead.
NOT THIS TIME... After FOUR long years—just occasional trims to avoid full-on Hagrid vibes—I finally did it! I’m donating my hair!
It’s just hair, but to someone going through the unimaginable, it can mean the world.
But here’s something you might not know:
✨ It costs at least £700 to turn donated hair into just one wig. ✨
So now, I’m asking for your help.
I’ve done the growing—will you help turn this hair into a beautiful wig for someone who’s already been through so much? Together, we can bring confidence, comfort, and a smile to a child who really needs it.
If you’re able to donate, no amount is too small.
THANK YOU!
