I Didn’t Fight Alone - The Ann Foley Memorial Run

The Foley family are heartbroken by the loss of Ann, the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend the world has ever known.

Ann lost her fight to cancer on the 1st October last. She died at home surrounded by her loving family.

Ann didn't fight alone. We will be forever grateful to the Roscommon Palliative Care Team who helped us to fulfill Ann's wishes to be at home at the end of her life.

Following the Covid 19 Pandemic, we are all aware that fundraising for Hospice and Cancer charities has been hugely impacted. We feel very lucky to have received nursing support from the Irish Cancer Society, without whom Ann could not have been at home.

In Ann's memory we (David, Dermot & Karol) will run 20Km from Rooskey to Páirc Seáin on 30th October at 10am. We are fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society & The Roscommon/Mayo Hospice who provided nursing care for Ann at home. We would greatly appreciate any donation, however great or small. Ann touched the lives of all who knew her in a very special way. Our aim now is to help other families in Ann's memory.

We thank you sincerely for your support.

Kindest regards,
