Hi, my name is Jade.

I am facing the loss of my home in 14 days and need urgent help.

For 8 years, I was a full-time, unpaid live-in caregiver for my mother, who had dementia, and I also provided hospice care for her until she passed.

After her death, I inherited her home and a $15,000 life insurance policy. However, those funds were fully used to repair the home after significant damage related to her illness and care needs.

Just five weeks later, my brother—my last remaining family—passed away leaving me without any family.

Since then, I have been trying to stay afloat financially, but I have fallen behind and now face losing my house.

I am currently seeking help to cover:

• Past-due rent

• Utilities at risk of shutoff

• Basic living expenses to remain housed during this transition

I have also tried local assistance programs and community resources, but I do not qualify for most of them based on eligibility requirements, which has left me without access to formal support.
