My name is Jihad, from Gaza.

The war has taken everything from us — our home, our safety, and even part of my body. During one of the attacks, I was injured and lost one of my fingers. Since then, I have been unable to work or provide for my family.

I am the only son in my family — all my siblings are girls — and I am the only one who takes care of my elderly parents. My mother is sick and needs medicine, my father is old and weak, and I have no way to support them anymore.

Our home was destroyed in the bombings, and now we live in extremely harsh conditions. Gaza is facing a deadly famine — there is almost no food, and even if it’s found, we have no money to buy it. Many nights, we sleep hungry, with nothing but hope to carry us through.

The situation here is heartbreaking. People are not only dying from bombs but also from hunger and disease. Medicine is unaffordable, jobs no longer exist, and survival feels impossible.
