I Can't Walk a Straight Line

Hi, my name is Danny and I’m dizzy. I have vertigo. I was found outside a lady’s house and I kept talking to her and showing her how friendly I was. At the time I was pretty desperate to come indoors to warmth. What caught her attention was that I could hardly walk a straight line. My back legs are splayed so that I don’t fall over and my head moves from side to side to balance myself. I’m a really sweet boy and quite endearing to people, so I get a lot of love here at Pet Patrol. It was at the sanctuary that they noticed I was deaf as well. Wow! The vet sent me to a specialist to check for polyps (warts) in my ear canal and my eardrums. All clear. That appointment alone cost $400 and was a bit of a stretch financially for Pet Patrol. Now they are recommending another specialist to see what is inside my head, in my middle ear, which controls my balance. They want to do an MRI ($1,800) to see exactly what is going on, and some samples might be taken and tested ($500 each x 4) at the time. Oh my! This is adding up very quickly! How will Pet Patrol cover this big bill? You see, I can’t do too much. I can’t hear anything. I walk wobbly. I can’t run after a toy I am not living my full life as a happy go lucky kitty. It makes me sad and I sleep a lot but as I am such a loving kitty Pet Patrol will not give up on me. They are going to help me have a good life. So maybe if we get these expensive diagnostics done I will have a chance and at least be able to hear. Do you think you would be able to donate towards my care? It’s so costly and Pet Patrol is really struggling to keep up with the many cats needing important medical care already.
