I can’t give my mom the world but I’ll try

As most of you know me, I am Kathy’s daughter. I know she’s been struggling since she stopped working at the salon, doing odd jobs, helping any and everyone out at the drop of a hat.

she had expressed to me multiple times her money troubles, I’ve helped her multiple times keep her bank account from over drawing without hesitation I’d do it.

Today she came to me in confidence and told me her and her husband Michael are barely able to afford food, (now her loss of medical insurance and NEEDING her meds to keep her out of her deep depressions she slips into) which then led to they’re close to losing their home. I know the holidays are rough for everyone, especially with the pandemic, it’s absolutely hurt us all in some way. If I could pay her medical bills, fill her tank, put food on their table and help them save their house i would.

With me being out of work for 3 months back in March due to a freak medical emergency, I in a heartbeat would have given her $5000 or more just to help in anyway.

my mom being the devoted wife, ride or die mom and living for her grand babies, she’s too proud to ask for help. So I’ve taken it upon myself without her knowledge (and hopefully she won’t find out) to ask for some help for her and Michael.

doesn’t matter if it’s $1 or $5, anything helps. I hope to be able to match all donations for her by mid to end of January.

she’s been a rock to me Matthew, Blake, my son Bryson and Blake’s daughter Lilly. Now I want to return the favor.
