On August 7, our lives were turned upside down. What was thought to have been a quick visit to the ED for abdominal pain led to the words that no one ever wishes to hear...you have leukemia.
From endless tests and scans to constant blood work and sleepless nights, Todd has been a fighter. Not one time has he complained or even stated "Why me?" I spent the night with Todd the very first night he was diagnosed and asked him, "How do you feel about all of this?" His response was, "It is what it is...I'll do what needs to be done."
Todd was recently discharged home from the hospital for a week long "R&R" but will return this week for his 2nd round of Chemo. His hair is gone, his skin and appearance is pale but his heart is full of love from the outpouring of messages, cards and calls from his supporters near and far.
This page was created as many have reached out in wanting to help donate to Todd's medical expenses. Our family appreciates you all more than you'll ever know!
