I need your help to pay for a medical expert witness to work on my medical malpractice case. The defendants, in this case, are several psychiatrists, emergency room physicians, and supervisors who engaged in egregious conduct. Some of the actions of those professionals were the results of incompetence and negligence, but some of the acts that they committed represented plain malfeasance, and the medical records show that racial and ethnic prejudice, as well as sexism and misogyny, drove their actions. I will list their names below.

 

I was injured, abused, and had my patient and fundamental rights violated by this group of doctors in my local hospital in 2018. I filed a lawsuit in 2019. The case has been going really well. we have won at every step so far by prevailing on every motion and pleading. But we are at a crossroads because the hospital and healthcare lobbyists have convinced our legislatures to pass laws to make it difficult for patients to pursue their claims in court. So, we have one more hurdle to overcome, and that is to hire an expert witness. I need your help to win this case.

 

This case has a great potential to have a major impact on the future of mental health diagnosis and patient care, change the narrative, and improve how people with mental illness are treated by professional practitioners. I have cleared many of the hoops, including a medical tribunal. I finally managed to find an expert who is willing to work on the case. We can win this case. But I need to raise money to pay his $5,800 retainer. Winning this case will be a victory for accountability and reform. So I need your help.
