Hi, my name is Tarik. In 2020, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease-a journey that has brought many challenges but also hope. Each year, I travel to Italy at my own expense to seek specialized care and explore treatment options that aren’t available to me locally. Now, I am looking into Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), a promising procedure that could greatly improve my quality of life.
