Hi, my name is Bart Justice and I am a lifelong resident of and own real estate in Huntsville, AL. Over the weekend, one of my tenants, Kerandez Thomas, died suddenly of a heart attack at only 27 years old. His newborn son Legend had just come home from the hospital a few days before he passed away. Legend was born on December 19th, 2022, but due to intestinal complications, he had emergency surgery at 2 days old and spent his first month in the NICU.

To say the least, little Legend's entrance into the world has been rough. Kerandez's widow Chayla is now faced with raising their son as a single mom. Much is unknown at this point. Kerandez was a manager at a local Express Oil Change and Chayla is currently on maternity leave from Home Depot. Between medical bills, funeral arrangements, and ongoing monthly needs, Chayla and Legend need help financially. I desire to raise $10,000 to help get them through the next several months as they sort things out.
